The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday approved the payment of productivity linked bonus (PLB) for the financial year 2019-20 for all eligible non-gazetted railway employees.
The payment will be equivalent of 78 days pay subject to a ceiling of Rs 17000.
About 11.58 lakh non-gazetted railway employees spread across the country will receive this bonus.
Payment of PLB is made each year before the Dussehra/ Puja holidays. The cabinet decision will be implemented before the holidays for this year as well.
