Come October 19, CR to add 225 suburban services

Central Railway (CR) will add 225 services to its existing 481 on Mumbai suburban starting October 19,2020.

According to a statement by CR, the breakup of services is as follows:

Main line – 499 (slow services 309 and fast services 190)

Harbour line – 187

Transharbour line – 20

The decision has been taken to ensure social distancing and avoid crowding following extant guidelines on unlocking.
