Central Railway Mumbai Division and Hindustan Unilever Limited in a joint initiative to enable personal hygiene, provided Foot Operated Handwash Vending Machine (FHVM) at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai on 25.8.2020. This machine dispenses liquid handwash and water separately in a zero contact manner for passengers during COVID19 pandemic.
Keeping in mind social distancing, there are 4 stations in one machine wherein 4 persons can simultaneously wash their hands at a time. This machine is placed at Platform no.14 at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai.
Free Health Screening Camp
In its fight against COVID19, Central Railway Mumbai Division with Namaste Health Medical Platform conducting Free Health Screening Camp at select suburban railway stations of Mumbai on Central Railway. The health screening will include symptom assessment, pulse monitoring, oxygen saturation of the blood and BP monitoring. The reports will be analysed by the doctors and sent to the patient. All the patients will have free teleconsultation with a health care worker and those with the abnormal report will have free teleconsultation with an allopathic doctor.
The free camp dates and stations will be from 9.30 am to 7.00 pm viz.
Dadar East – till 28.8.2020
Kurla West – 31.8.2020 to 4.9.2020
Thane West – 7.9.2020 to 11.9.2020
Dombivali East – 14.9.2020 to 18.9.2020
Ghatkopar West – 28.9.2020 to 1.10.2020.
