Central Railways has decided to convert the rake of 22105/22106 Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai – Pune Indrayani Express and 12169/12170 Pune-Solapur Express into LHB rake on permanent basis with effect from 1.2.2020.
After conversion into LHB rake the composition of the train will be as under
2 Air-conditioned chair cars, 12 Second class seating chair cars, One general second class cum generator van and One luggage cum generator van.
The present Railway Minister and Railway high official think if they convert railway rakes, speeding the trains, and doubbleing the lines, the trains will be punctual. No. At present the trains are converted in to LHB rakes and running 100 to 110 km speed. Still the trains are delayed very much. This is because of the trains arriving and departure from the station. A train takes min. 15 minutes to enter the station and 10 minutes to depart. Unless this is rectified like enter 30 km and depart 15 km, the Railways cannot achieve the time perfect.
I request the Honorable Railway Minister to take immediate action to have success.
