Central Railway’s Bhusaval division has successfully completed 130 kmph speed trials over its 527-km stretch between Igatpuri to Badnera via Bhusaval.
The trials were done from August 26,2023 to August 30,2023 in both directions, a statement said .
Three train pairs namely Mumbai-Nagpur -Mumbai Duranto , Mumbai- Gondia-Mumbai Vidarbha express and Mumbai-Howrah-Mumbai Gitanjali express were used for conducting trials.
CR recorded a saving of 28 minutes in the Down direction (away from Mumbai) and 30 minutes in the UP direction (towards Mumbai).
Due process is on to run 67 trains at 130 kmph on the Igatpuri-Bhusaval-Badnera section.
