Central Railway’s Pune Secunderabad Shatabdi emerged as the cleanest cleanest premium train in the first ever train cleanliness survey held in 2018 with 916 points.
Howrah-Ranchi Shatabdi Express stood second at 914 while Chennai Central – Mysuru Shatabdi Express with 906 points was the third best. Conducted by the Environment and Housekeeping Wing of Indian Railways, the methodology includes process audit, direct observation and passenger feedback.
