The Electric Loco Assembly and Ancillary Unit (ELAAU) of CLW’s Dankuni unit has turned out First electric loco (WAG-9HC no. 32728) of financial year 2020-21 on 29th June 2020.
The Dankuni unit of CLW was taken over by the West Bengal Govt for stabilising the passengers of Shramik Special trains up till June mid of this year due to COVID-19 precautions.
From 19th June 2020 the production started taking all COVID-19 precautions and within a very short time the dedicated staff & officers of Dankuni Unit of CLW turned out the First electric loco.
