Eastern Railway (ER) will re-start 27 pairs (54 train services) of non-suburban passenger trains for the convenience of the commuters starting December 2,2020.
Of this, 15 pairs (30 train services) will be run on Howrah Division, 22 services on Asansol Division and the remaining two on Malda Division.
Of the 30 passenger train services to be run on Howrah division the break up is as follows:-
Barddhaman – Rampurhat section – 8 services
Rampurhat -Gumani section – 8 services
Rampurhat-Dumka-Jasidih section 2 services
.Katwa – Azimganj section – 8 services and
Azimganj – Rampurhat section- 4 services
Of the 22 services to be run on Asansol division, the break up is as follows:-
In Asansol Division, among 22 passenger train services, 8 trains will run in
Barddhaman – Asansol section – 8 services
Andal – Sainthia section – 4 services
Asansol – Dhanbad section – 4 services
Asansol-Jasidih-Jhajha section-4 services and
Andal – Jasidih section- 2 services.
Two services will be run on Malda division between Malda and Barharwa.
