Eastern Railway (ER) will take a traffic and power block of 240 minutes (from 11 hours to 15 hours) between Belmuri and Cheragram on the Howrah-Bardhaman chord line on Sunday,January 3,2021.
This follows the decision of West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Limited to replace damaged conductors.
As a result, the following services will four services will be diverted / cancelled / rescheduled.
Ranchi-Dumka Special Train
To clear the extra rush of the passengers, fully reserved special trains between Ranchi & Dumka will run as under.
Train number 08619 Ranchi- Dumka special will leave Ranchi Station daily at 21:30 hrs effective 02.01.2021 to reach Dumka Station at 07:25 hrs on the next day and train number 08620 Dumka- Ranchi special will leave Dumka station daily at 18:55 hrs effective 03.01.2021 to reach Ranchi station at 03.55 hrs on the next day.
The train will stop at Muri, Bokaro Steel City, Rajabera, Chandrapura, Dhanbad Jn., Chittaranjan, Jamtara, Vidyasagar, Madhupur Jn., Jasidih Jn., Deoghar, Ghormara, Basukinath and Jama Stations in both directions enroute.
Booking of the special train (08620) will be available from 31.12.2020 at 08.00 a.m. through PRS & Internet.
