The Hyderabad Metro line from Nagole to Hitec City will get extended to its final flange at Raidurgam from November 29th, as announced by Hyderabad Metro Rail MD Shri NVS Reddy.
This was announced after the CMRS inspection for safety and operations was completed and sanction for running services obtained. The services to Hitec City were started earlier this year.
The Raidurgam station is actually located opposite the Raheja Mindspace office complex in the midst of the IT district. This will be a boon to a lot of commuters working in Mindspace, Cyber Pearl and Cyber Gateways apart from connecting to multinational furniture giant Ikea among others.
A Skywalk is also under construction from this station which would lead into Mindspace making the approach to many software companies easier for commuters.
With this extension, two lines of the Hyderabad Metro achieve completion. The third line section from Jubilee Bus station Secunderabad to Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station Imlibun would start testing of services soon.
