Indian Railways has cancelled all tickets booked for regular trains up to 12th August 2020.
This move is valid only for tickets booked for regular timetabled trains that were operational before the lockdown. The cancellation does not affect special trains currently being run by Indian Railways
Indian Railways will also process refunds automatically for tickets booked on IRCTC online.
Before this, Indian Railways has cancelled tickets booked on regular timetabled trains up to 30th June and refunded online bookings. Passengers with PRS counter tickets were allowed to claim refunds at later dates in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting lockdown.
