Indian Railways has sent an eight car Vande Bharat rake for undertaking trials on the Udhampur Srinagar Baramulla railway line (USBRL). The details of the rake sent is a on Saturday, November 30, 2024.
The details of the rake sent is as follows:
Works on the section are being done on a war footing so that it is completed by the month-end and trials are done. IR is likely to start Vande Bharat services in Kashmir in January 2025.
