Indian Railways will run 196 pairs of trains (392 trains) of ‘Festival Specia’ services to clear the festive rush.
These trains will be run from October 20 and
November 30 2020 according to a statement from Railway Board.
Fares applicable for special trains will be applicable for these festive specials as well.
Zonal Railways have been directed to notify their schedule well in advance.
These services will be superfast services, operated at a minimum speed of 55 kmph.
Zonal Railways have been asked to operate these services with more number of AC II tier coaches.
