For the convenience of the passengers 30 air-conditioned specials and 200 other special trains are being operated by Indian Railways throughout the country.
For safe and comfortable travel by these special trains, it is mandatory for the passengers to follow protocols like checking the Arogya Setu App while entering the station, going through the thermal scanning process, following the social distancing norms at the station and in trains, wearing mask/ face cover throughout the journey , following Covid-19 related protocols issued by respective state of destination station etc . Following these guidelines, passengers can help in preventing the spread of Covid-19 during the journey, to keep themselves and others safe.
In this connection, Government of Karnataka has made it compulsory for all the passengers travelling to Karnataka to register on Seva Sindhu Portal . Otherwise passengers will not be allowed for home quarantine. Registering on the Seva Sindhu Portal will help in tracking the passenger and preventing the spread of Covid-19. For awareness among passengers’ announcements are being made at stations, SMS informing mandatory use of Seva Sindhu Portal are also being sent to passengers travelling to Karnataka and it will also be informed during process of reservation.
Passengers are requested to kindly note the guidelines related to Covid-19 issued by destination state at time of booking and before undertaking journey to make rail travel safe and comfortable experience.
