There is a large number of important offices over NCR including headquarter & 3 divisional offices, which are functioning round the clock apart from approximately 25000 residences which are being duly maintained and the regular water & electricity supply is being  ensured. The engineering & electrical staff of all the three divisions working under supervisors  ie Senior Section Engineers commonly known as IOWs are making all out efforts with minimal staff to facilitate these services.

These works are being executed efficiently by Railway Engineering staff under able guidance of their respective supervisors during lock down period, adhering to the guide lines of wearing face masks, sanitizing their tools, regular  hand washing & social distancing etc.

In order to maintain regular electricity supply the electrical department is taking special care in maintaining the  substations and all the touching points are being regularly sanitized and cleaned in wake of covid-19.  In order to ensure backup supply in case of any emergent situation due to any power failure the regular checking & essential maintenance  of  DG sets is also being carried out.  Even the cleaning of all the water coolers working in offices and installed at stations has been done. Cleaning/sanitization of lifts and escalators at touching points is also being done, apart from checking all control panels of lifts and escalators.
