Negative RT-PCR report mandatory for train passengers arriving in West Bengal

Going by the recent upsurge and high positivity rate and hence to restrict the Covid19 cases and to break the chain of infection, Government of West Bengal has made mandatory RTPCR negative report of the passengers coming from other States. 

Train Passengers from Other States going to anywhere in West Bengal should possess RTPCR Negative Report. The Test should have been conducted within 72 hours of departure of train from originating Stations.

In addition, State Governments have issued travel advisory for passengers arriving by long distance trains in their respective states.  The latest available State-wise advisory is available on website http://contents.irctc.co.in/en/stateWiseAdvisory.html

Passengers travelling in long distance trains are requested to check the advisory and follow covid-19 appropriate behaviour for their safety and safety of others.
