A new Humsafar Express between Patna and Bengaluru. The Inaugural special was remotely flagged off today by Minister for Railways, Piyush Goyal.
The regular run of the train will begin from Banaswadi in Bengaluru from 10th March 2019, and from Patna on the 14th of March 2019.
The Patna – Banaswadi Humsafar will run every Thursday from Patna and reach Bengaluru every Saturday. The return train will leave from Banaswadi in Bengaluru every Sunday and reach Patna on Tuesdays. This information was provided in a statement by East Central Railway officials.

it could have been routed via BZA-GNT-NDL-DNC-GY-HDPR now that this route is electrified, faster run time could have reduced travel between BZA-SBC; unfortunately more & more trains are being added to already congested BZA-GDR-KJM – need to ponder over why
