Northeast Frontier Railway has decided to resume the services of some more daily passenger special trains from the first week of September, 2021 for the benefit of short distance travellers. Among these special trains- One train each will run from Siliguri junction to Bamanhat and Balurghat; one train will run between Alipurduar junction and Bamanhat and another train will run between New Jalpaiguri and Haldibari.
Among these passenger services:
Train No. 05468 Bamanhat – Siliguri junction daily express special will run w.e.f. 02.09.2021 leaving from Bamanhat at 09:30 hours to reach Siliguri junction at 18:15 hours on same day. In return direction, Train No. 05467 Siliguri junction – Bamanhat daily express special will run w.e.f. 04.09.2021 leaving from Siliguri junctionat 06:45 hours to reach Bamanhat at 13:40 hours on same day.
➢ Train No. 05463/05464 Balurghat – Siliguri junction – Balurghat daily intercity express special will resume from 03-09-2021 leaving from Balurghat at 13:15 hours to reach Siliguri junction at 19:45 hours and leaving from Siliguri junction at 08:00 hours to reach Balurghat at 15:15 hours on same day.
➢ Train No. 05465 Alipurduar junction – Bamanhat daily passenger special will run from 02-09-2021 leaving from Alipurduar junction at 06:20 hours to reach Bamanhat at 08:45 hours on same day. In return direction, Train No. 05466 Bamanhat – Alipurduar junction daily passenger special will run from 04-09-2021 leaving from Bamanhatat 16:15 hours to reach Alipurduar junction at 18:45hours on same day.
➢ Train No. 05749/05752 New Jalpaiguri – Haldibari – New Jalpaiguri daily passenger special will resume from 02-09-2021 leaving from New Jalpaiguri at 09-15 hours to reach Haldibari at 10-55 hours and leaving from Haldibari at 17-35 hours to reach New Jalpaiguri at 19-00 hours on same day.
The details of stoppages and timings of these trains are available in IRCTC website and are also being notified in various newspapers and social media platforms of N.F. Railway. Passengers are requested to see these details before undertaking their journey.
It may kindly be noted that, during train journey and on arrival at their destination, the passengers will have to adhere to prevailing health protocols of the destination state. All passengers are requested to co-operate with the railway and respective state govt officials in this regards.
