NFR To Start New Special Trains To Howrah, Trivandrum and DEMU Services in Tripura

Two additional special trains will be run by Northeast Frontier Railway from the coming week.

One daily special train will start running between Howrah – Guwahati – Howrah w.e.f. 5^th October, 2020; another weekly special train will start running between Silchar – Trivandrum – Silchar from 8^th October 2020.

02345 Howrah – Guwahati special will leave from Howrah at 15-50 hrs daily w.e.f. 5^th October 2020 to reach Guwahati at 10-05 hrs next day.

The return train 02346 Guwahati – Howrah special will leave from Guwahati at 12-20 hrs daily w.e.f. 6^th October 2020 to arrive Howrah next day at 05-25 hrs.

During journey, the train will run via Kamakhya, New Bongaigaon, New Alipurduar, New Coochbehar, New Jalpaiguri, Kishanganj, Malda Town, Rampurhat, Bolpur, Barddhaman. 1^st AC, 2^nd AC, 3^rd AC, Sleeper class and general 2^nd class accommodations will be available. There will be no unreserved coaches.

02508 Silchar – Trivandrum special will leave from Silchar every Thursday at 20-05 hrs w.e.f. 8^th October 2020.

It will have stoppages at Badarpur Jn, New Haflong, Maibang, Lumding, Hojai, Guwahati, Kamakhya, Rangiya, Barpeta Road, New Bongaigaon, Kokrajhar, New Alipurduar, New Coochbehar, Dhupguri, New Jalpaiguri, Kishanganj, Malda Town, Howrah, Kharagpur, Bhubaneswar, Vijayawada, Kathpadi, Ernaculam before reaching Trivandrum at 22-40 hrs on Sunday.

02507 Trivandrum – Silchar special will leave from Trivandrum every Tuesday at 16-55 hrs w.e.f. 13^th October 2020 to reach Silchar at 19-00 hrs on Friday. This train will have 2^nd AC, 3^rd AC, Sleeper class and general 2^nd class accommodations available. There will be no unreserved coaches.

Moreover, NFR has decided to resume the services of 3 pairs of DEMU services in Tripura.

Accordingly, 07676 DEMU will leave Dharmanagar at 06-00 hrs to arrive Agartala at 10-00 am. 07675 DEMU will leave from Agartala at 17-45 hrs to arrive Dharmanagar at 21-45 hrs. 07688 DEMU will leave Agartala at 16-30 hrs to arrive Sabroom at 19-00 hrs. 07687 DEMU will start from Sabroom at 19-15 hrs to arrive Agartala at 21-50 hrs. 07682 DEMU will start from Agartala at 05-15 hrs to arrive Sabroom at 07-45 hrs. 07689 DEMU will start from Sabroom at 08-00 hrs to reach Agartala at 10-25 hrs.
