The Railway Board has organised a ‘Parivartan Sangoshthi’ or a Seminar for Change in Delhi on 7th and 8th of December.
The seminar is to be attended by top Indian Railways officials from the Railway Board as well as General Managers, PHODs and Divisional Railway Managers from various zones. Also attending will be the Director Generals from the RDSO and National Academy of Indian Railways.
Minister of Railways Piyush Goyal and Minister of State for Railways Suresh Angadi will also be attending the meet.
The agenda for the seminar is sharing of experiences and suggestions among officials to plan for the next level of reforms. Various groups of officials will then consolidate and firm up overall recommendations to the Railway Board.
On the second day, the fine-tuned recommendations will be presented after feedback from the Railway Board. The CRB and ministers will address the gathering on Sunday to help define the way forward.
