Kolkata, 16th December, 2019:
12841 Howrah-MGR Chennai Coromondal Express scheduled to leave Howrah on 16.12.19 (today) will remain cancelled due to want of rake.
UPDATE
Train services in Tamluk-Haldia section of South Eastern Railway has been disrupted due to agitation and blockade at Basulyasutahata station on non-railway issue from 06.10 hrs today morning (16.12.19).
As a result, 38052 Haldia-Howrah local got detained in the section while 38051 Howrah-Haldia local was short terminated at Pasnkura.
Train services was disrupted in Howrah-Amta section also due to blockade at Amta station on non railway issue from 07.05 hrs. today(16.12.19).
As a result, two Up Howrah-Amta EMU local and three Dn Amta-Howrah EMU local trains have been cancelled.
All obstructions were removed at Basulyasutahata station at 09.05 hrs after which train services resumed. Blockade at Amta was also removed at 11.35 hrs and normalcy in train services is gradually being restored.

The following trains of South Eastern Railway will remain cancelled due to want of rake:-
CANCELLATION OF TRAINS ON 16.12.19
· 12863 Howrah-Yesvantpur Express leaving Howrah on 16.12.19 will remain cancelled.
· 12839 Howrah-MGR Chennai Central Mail leaving Howrah on 16.12.19 will remain cancelled
UPDATE 3
Due to non-functioning of Electronic Interlocking Panel at Muri, the following trains of South Eastern Railway will run via diverted route on 16.12.19 :-
· 22823 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express leaving Bhubaneswar on 16.12.19 will run via Purulia-Bokaro Steel City instead of Muri-Kotshila-Bokaro Steel City.
· 18616 Hatia-Howrah Kriyoga Express leaving Hatia on 16.12.19 will run via Muri-Kotshila-Purulia-Chandil instead of Muri-Goonda Bihar.
· 18615 Howrah- Hatia Kriya Yoga Express leaving Howrah on 16.12.19 will run via Chandil-Purulia-Kotshila instead of Goonda Bihar-Muri.
