Southern Railway has decided to restore following special trains. Details below.
1. Train No.06029 Chennai Central – Coimbatore Shatabdi Special Train (6 days a week) will be restored with effect from 05.07.2021.
2. Train No.06030 Coimbatore – Chennai Central Shatabdi Special Train (6 days a week) will be restored with effect from 05.07.2021.
3. Train No.06319 Kochuveli – Banaswadi Humsafar Bi-weekly Special Train (via Coimbatore, Erode, Salem) will be restored with effect from 08.07.2021.
4. Train No.06320 Banaswadi – Kochuveli Humsafar Bi-weekly Special Train (via Salem, Erode, Coimbatore) will be restored with effect from 09.07.2021.

FESTIVAL SPECIAL TRAINS TO RUN FOR EXTENDED PERIOD
The period of service of the following festival special trains, running via Salem Division, has been extended as detailed below.
1. Train No.02511 Gorakhpur – Kochuveli tri-weekly festival special train has been extended to run from 01.07.2021 until further advice.
2. Train No.02512 Kochuveli – Gorakhpur tri-weekly festival special train has been extended to run from 04.07.2021 until further advice.
3. Train No.02877 Howrah – Ernakulam Jn. weekly festival special train has been extended to run from 03.07.2021 to 25.09.2021.
4. Train No.02878 Ernakulam Jn. – Howrah weekly festival special train has been extended to run from 05.07.2021 to 27.09.2021.
5. Train No.02521 Barauni – Ernakulam Jn. weekly festival special train has been extended to run from 05.07.2021 to 30.08.2021.
6. Train No.02522 Ernakulam Jn. – Barauni weekly festival special train has been extended to run from 09.07.2021 to 03.09.2021.
