Special Trains Introduced for Kolkata, Hyderabad

A special train service has been introduced between Howrah and Hyderabad by Indian Railways. Timings have been revised for other trains and several cancellations for engineering works. More details below.

08645/46 Hyderabad-Howrah Special Train

08646 Hyderabad-Howrah Special from Hyderabad will leave at 0800hrs daily from 16.04.2021 to 30.04.2021 and will reach Howrah at 1440 hrs on the next day.

Similarly, 08645 Howrah-Hyderabad Special from Howrah will leave at 1130hrs daily from 18.04.2021 to 02.05.2021 and will arrive at Hyderabad at 1730 hrs on the next day.

This train will provide stoppage at important stations between Hyderabad & Howrah from both the directions having one AC-2 Tier, Three AC-3 Tier, 12 Sleeper Class, Three Second Class Seating, Two Guard cum luggage van and One Parcel Van in its composition.

The timings of Train No. 02783 Visakhapatnam – Secunderabad and Train No. 02869 Visakhapatnam – MGR Chennai Central  are revised as detailed below: –

Inorder to expedite essential safety related track maintenance works in Wadakkanchery Yard (Ernakulam Jn -Shoranur Jn section), the following train services will be regulated/partially cancelled on 16^th, 17^th, 23^rd and 24^th April, 2021(4 days), as detailed below.

REGULATION

• Train No. 02625 Thiruvananthapuram Central – New Delhi Daily Superfast Express leaving Thiruvananthapuram Central on 16^th, 17^th, 23^rd and 24^th April, 2021 will be regulated en route for 01 hour  20 minutes.

PARTIAL CANCELLATION

1. Train No. 02639 MGR Chennai Central – Alappuzha Superfast Daily Special leaving MGR Chennai Central on 15^th, 16^th, 22^nd and 23rd April, 2021 will be short terminated at Palakkad Junction. The train will not operate between Palakkad Jn. and Alappuzha.
2. Train No. 02640 Alappuzha – MGR Chennai Central Superfast Daily Special scheduled to leave Alappuzha on 16^th, 17^th, 23^rd and 24^th April, 2021 will be partially cancelled between Alappuzha and Palakkad Junction. The train will commence its service from Palakkad Junction instead of Alappuzha.
3. Train No. 06307 Alappuzha – Kannur Daily Special scheduled to leave Alappuzha on 16^th, 17^th, 23^rd and 24^th April, 2021 will be partially cancelled between Alappuzha and Shoranur Junction. The train will commence its service from Shoranur Jn. instead of Alappuzha.
4. Train No. 06308 Kannur – Alappuzha Daily Special leaving Kannur on 16^th, 17^th, 23^rd and 24^th April, 2021 will be short terminated at Shoranur Junction. The train will not operate between Shoranur Jn. and Alappuzha.
5. Train No. 06306 Kannur – Ernakulam Junction Daily Special leaving Kannur on 16^th, 17^th,  23^rd and 24^th April, 2021 will be short terminated at Shoranur Jn. The train will not operate between Shoranur Jn. and Ernakulam Jn.
6. Train No. 06791 Tirunelveli – Palakkad Junction Daily Special leaving Tirunelveli  Jn. on 15^th, 16^th, 22^nd and 23^rd April, 2021 will be short terminated at Thrissur. The train will not operate between Thrissur and Palakkad Jn.
7. Train No.06792 Palakkad Junction- Tirunelveli Junction Daily Special scheduled to leave Palakkad Jn. on 16^th, 17^th, 23^rd and 24^th April, 2021 will be partially cancelled between Palakkad Junction and  Thrissur. The train will commence its service from Thrissur instead of Palakkad Junction.
8. Train No.06018 Ernakulam Junction – Shoranur Junction MEMU Special leaving Ernakulam Jn. on 16^th, 17^th, 23^rd and 24^th April 2021 will be short terminated at Mulankunnathukavu. The train will not operate between Mulankunnathukavu and Shoranur Jn.
