Shri Sanjeev Mittal, General Manager, Central Railway conducted a surprise inspection at Ghatkopar during the morning peak hours on 27.9.2019. Shri A.K. Agarwal, Principal Chief Engineer, Shri S.K.Jain, Divisional Railway Manager, Mumbai Division, Shri R.S. Khurana, CMD, MRVC and other officials were present on the occasion. Shri Mittal, inspected the station area, foot over bridge, cirulating area between suburban station and metro station.
At Kalyan station, he inspected the ciruclating area on West and East side, booking offices, catering stalls, integrated security system, purchasing eatables at the stalls, etc. and interacted with passengers. He also inspected whether the “no bill no payment” is in place or not.
Shri Mittal also boarded the 11042 Chennai-Mumbai Express on his return to CSMT. He inspected the AC coaches, Pantry Car and Sleeper Class coaches and interacted with passengers and took feed back about services. Shri S.K. Jain Divisional Railway Manager, showed him the renovated passenger corridor and Self Ticketing Zone at CSMT.
