Work for redevelopment of 1,200 Sqft new Dharwad Railway Station building is nearing completion and this vertical garden will be first of its kind in North Karnataka. The vertical garden and plants will shield the new station building from heat lower the temperature during the summer season.
The work of the garden has been taken up at a cost of Rs.10 lakhs along with Station Redevelopment. Apart from the vertical garden, the station has 2 small gardens on its premises.
