An open interaction session of freight and parcel customers of Bengaluru Division was held through video link today in Bengaluru Divisional Office.
Dr. A. N. Krishna Reddy, Sr. Divisional Commercial Manager, Bengaluru Division chaired the session. Shri Akhil Shastri, Sr. Divisional Operations Manager and other officers from commercial and operating departments were present in the session.
Dr. A. N. Krishna Reddy welcomed the members of the industry participating in the Video link. He briefed through power point presentation the various schemes available for the benefit of the Freight and Parcel Business. He also appraised the tailor-made schemes for the industry to tide over the Pandemic and the future avenues.
Customers were invited to offer their opinion and suggestions for further improvements to make schemes more customer friendly.
About 160 customers participated in the meeting and shared their views and suggestions for improvement/modification to various schemes related to parcel and freight in Railways. The suggestions were recorded for further improvements in the system.
