In view of the annual Sree Kori Siddheshwara Jathra Mahotsava, eight express trains will be provided with one minute temporary stoppage at Nalwar Railway station in North Karnataka with effect from 1st to 8th February, 2019 as detailed below:
1.Train No. 11013 Lokmanyatilak – Coimbatore Express will arrive/depart Nalwar Railway Station at 10:15/10:16 hrs.
2. Train No. 11014 Coimbatore – Lokmanyatilak Express will arrive/depart Nalwar Railway Station at 02:10/02:11 hrs.
3.Train No. 12163 Dadar – Chennai Egmore Express will arrive/depart Nalwar Railway Station at 07:25/07:26 hrs.
4.Train No. 12164 Chennai Egmore – Dadar Express will arrive/depart Nalwar Railway Station at 18:15/18:16 hrs.
5.Train No. 16339 C Shivaji Maharaj Terminus – Nagercoil Express will arrive/depart Nalwar Railway Station at 23:39/23:40 hrs.
6.Train No. 16340 Nagercoil – C Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Express will arrive/depart Nalwar Railway Station at 07:50/07:51 hrs.
7.Train No. 16351 C Shivaji Maharaj Terminus – Nagercoil Express will arrive/depart Nalwar Railway Station at 23:39/23:40 hrs.
8.Train No. 16352 Nagercoil – C Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Express will arrive/depart Nalwar Railway Station at 07:50/07:51 hrs.
This stoppage will enable devotees from places like Mumbai, Kanyakumari, Chennai, Coimbatore, etc attend the jathra celebrations in addition to the many trains that already have a scheduled halt in Nalwar. The jathra sees huge crowd of pilgrims from western Telangana, North and west Karnataka and south eastern Maharashtra areas like Gulbarga and Latur.
