For the convenience of passengers during Ganapati Festival and to clear the extra rush during the festive season, Western Railway had announced 12 trips of 3 Special trains, i.e. one from Ahmedabad to Kudal, one from Ahmedabad to Sawantwadi Road and one from Vadodara to Ratnagiri on special fare. To further benefit the passengers, it has now been decided to provide an additional halt to these three trains at Palghar station. Hence, Train No 09416/ 09415 Ahmedabad – Kudal (Weekly) Special Train on Special fare, Train No. 09418/ 09417 Ahmedabad – Sawantwadi Road (Weekly) Special Train on Special fare and Train No. 09106/ 09105 Vadodara – Ratnagiri (Weekly) Special Train on Special fare will also halt at Palghar station.
It may be noted that as the forecast of restoration of traffic in Madure – Pernem section has been extended till 10th September 2020, some trains have been cancelled/diverted. Train No 02432/02431 New Delhi – Trivandrum JCO from 23rd August to 11th September 2020 (18 Trips) has been cancelled. The route of Train No 02432 New Delhi – Trivandrum JCO 19th August 2020 will run on diverted route Panvel-Pune-Miraj Jn- Londa Jn- Madgaon. Similarly, in the return direction, Train No 02431 Trivandrum – New Delhi JCO 21st August 2020 will run on diverted route Madgaon- Londa Jn -Miraj Jn- Pune- Panvel. Train No 02284 Nizammudin – Ernakulam JCO 22nd, 29th Aug & 5th Sept 2020 will run on diverted route Panvel – Pune- Wadi- Guntakal Jn-Renigunta Jn -Melpakkam- Jolarpettai. Similarly, in the return direction Train No 02283 Ernakulam- Nizamuddin JCO 25th Aug, 1st & 8th Sept 2020 will run on diverted route Jolarpettai – Melpakkam- Renigunta Jn – Guntakal Jn- Wadi- Pune- Panvel.
