During the concluding ceremony of the two-day Parivartan Sangoshti held in New Delhi on 7th and 8th December, 2019, Hon’ble Minister of Railways Shri Piyush Goyal felicitated Shri Jitendra Kumar Jain – Senior Section Engineer of Electric Loco Shed in Vadodara Division of Western Railway for his exemplary and important role in the Loco Push-Pull Operation andawarded with a Certificate of Excellency.
Electric Loco Shed in Vadodara has modified 38 electric locos with push-pull system. The Mumbai-New Delhi Rajdhani and August Kranti Express run successfully on the Push-Pull system under this operation. The increase in speed and smooth running of trains has been made possible through this system only which has transformed running of trains. Shri Sanjiv Bhutani – Principal Chief Electrical Engineer has congratulated Shri Jitendra Jain for his commendable work on behalf of the whole Electrical Department for this splendid achievement.
