Western Railway has planned a six-hour traffic and power block between Charni Road and Grant Road in Mumbai on the night between 24th and 25th of August 2020.
The block is being imposed to launch eight girders for the Frere Road-Over-Bridge between the two stations.
Late night suburban services may be affected. Details below:
On Down slow line, the last local will be VR 289 ex Churchgate at 23.30 hrs. On Up slow line, the last local will be for Churchgate BO 274 ex Borivali at 22.30 hrs. On Down fast line the last local will leave Churchgate at 23.15 hrs and on Up fast line, the last local VR 280 will leave at 22.15 hrs for Churchgate.
Some trains will be partially cancelled i.e 6 Up services and 3 Down services. The following Up services will be partially cancelled between Vasai Rd and Churchgate:- BO 278, VR 282, VR 284, VR 286, VR 288 & VR 290. In the Dn direction, the trains that will be partially cancelled between Churchgate and Vasai Road are VR 1, VR 5 & VR 9.
