Western Railway has bagged the transport of a new commodity by rail with haulage of millets from Gujarat to Tamil Nadu by rail. The cargo was loaded from Nadiad goods shed in Gujarat and destined for Pollachi in Tamil Nadu.
In a statement, WR has said that it has earned Rs. 32 lakh as haulage charges for the shipment.
In the financial year 2021-22 starting 1st April 2021 to 6th July 2021, WR has transported the following categories of goods trains
