WR’s Ahmedabad division loads over 10 crore litres of milk year to date

Western Railway’s (WR) Ahmedabad division loaded a record 10.06 crore litres of milk by running 132 milk specials during the financial year to date (FY21).

These 132 milk special trains were run from Palanpur to Hind Terminal (Palwal).During the last fiscal FY20, the division had loaded 7.47 crore litres of milk running 110 rakes.

With this, Ahmedabad division earned a revenue of Rs 17.44 crore, as against  last year’s revenue of Rs. 12.39 crore. 

Gujarat Mail special to halt at Palghar

WR’s train No. 09201 Dadar-Ahmedabad Special train will halt at Palghar and not at Dahanu Road as notified earlier. However, Train No 09202 Ahmedabad -Dadar Special train will halt at Dahanu Road station.

This train is running between Dadar and Ahmedabad effective December 21,2020 on a daily basis until further notice.

Change in frequency/composition of Bandra-Jammu parcel special

WR has revised the frequency as well as the composition of Train No. 00901/00902 Bandra Terminus – Jammu Tawi Parcel special.

The train will run on each Tuesday and Friday from Bandra Terminus andeach Thursday and Sunday from Jammu Tawi. Prior to December 20, it used to run on alternate days.

An additional VPU will be attached/ detached to this train at Ahmedabad
